All the information you need to know on how to follow the composition of the 20/21 group stage as the draw is conducted in Geneva at 17:00 CEST on 1 October.
With Ferencvaros, Dynamo Kiev, Olympiacos, Salzburg, Midtjylland and Krasnodar all progressing from the play-off ties, we now know the 32 sides who will contest the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League group stage.
Less than a month and a half has transpired since Bayern Munich overcame Paris Saint-Germain in the closed doors 2020 final in Lisbon. The Bavarian giants are in Pot 1 ahead of the draw with the pots composed by UEFA club coefficients which are determined either by the sum of all points won in the previous five years or by the association coefficient over the same period – whichever is higher.
The four pots
Pot 1: Real Madrid, Sevilla, Bayern, PSG, Liverpool, Juventus, Zenit and FC Porto.
Pot 2: Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Dortmund, Shakhtar, Ajax and Chelsea.
Pot 3: Inter, Lazio, Atalanta, Leipzig, Dinamo Kiev, Krasnodar, Salzburg and Olympiacos.
Pot 4: Rennes, Ferencvaros, Basaksehir, B. Monchengladbach, Marseilles, Brugge, Midtjylland and Lokomotive Moscow.

What time does the Champions League group stage draw start?
The balls will be drawn for the 2020-21 Champions League group stage draw on Thursday 1 October at 17:00 (CEST) as part of a UEFA gala event that will also see a series of UEFA awards announced.
US times: New York 11:00, Dallas 10:00, Los Angeles: 08:00
Where can I watch the draw?
In Spain the draw will be shown live on Movistar Liga de Campeones and Gol with UEFA TV set to stream the event.
