Saudi-Arabian teams ranking in terms of market value
With a market value of 46.73 million Euro, Al-Hilal top the Saudi-Arabian teams while Mohamed Bin Salman league keeps its spot as the second most expensive competition after the Chinese league.
The Saudi-Arabian competition is currently considered one of the most significant Asian and Arabian leagues due to the fierce rivalry between numerous clubs in addition to the abundant financial resources clubs' administrations can utilize to constantly push the tournament to the next level.
The competition has recently witnessed the existence of world-class players within the Saudi-Arabian ranks such as Ahmed Mousa the ex-Leicester city player who left Al-Nassr during the summer transfer window, and Ever Banega who currently plays for Al-Shabab.
According to Transfer Market, the market value of Al-Hilal's players leaped from third place behind Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr to first place as their current market value stands at 46.73 million euros. In second place comes Al-Nassr with a market value of 43.18 million euros, whereas Al-Ahly comes third with 39.95 million euros.
Last season Al-Ahly's squad was valued at 63.15 million euros, Al-Nassr's collective value was worth 58.40 million euros, while Al-Hilal's squad was worth 46.08.

Al-Shabab came in fourth place with a value of 29.63 million euros, Al-Ittihad is fifth with 28.38 million while Al-Wihda ranked sixth with 18.95 million.
The competition maintained its worth despite the decline in market value:
The Mohamed Bin Salman league has retained its place as the competition with the second-highest market value in Asia behind the Chinese league despite losing 79.22 million euro in value compared to the previous season when the total market value of the league was estimated at 397.77 million euros.
