Luis Enrique: "Spain's real level will be seen at Euro 2020"
The national team coach spoke ahead of Spain's friendly against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Wednesday.

Luis Enrique spoke in his pre-match press conference ahead of the friendly match on Wednesday against the Netherlands. The game between the 2010 World Cup finalists takes place in the Johan Cruyff Arena and had to be postponed in March, owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
On the Johan Cruyff Arena
The Dutch school represents an idea of attacking football. I have had Dutch coaches and have many Dutch friends. I have great memories at this stadium. I like to play here.
Three powerful opponents
This will help us to see players. But after playing these three games we still won't know what we have for the European championships. That will be seen in the tournament, where we can do very well. We'll see. I like what I see. You have to be optimistic and positive. Spain's real level will be seen at the Euros.
On Kepa and Asensio
It is clear that I do not look at age or anything like that. Nor do I intend to convince anyone of my ideas. Kepa is going through a tough spell, and I will have to assess that. It is evident that not playing affects the players, but I can always make an exception. I love Marco Asensio and for me he is at a good level, but still far from where I think he can be. But some casualties have led me to calling him up. He has been in 99.9% of my squads. I can say that my decisions are well thought out.
Álvaro Morata
Morata comes because he has the confidence of his coach. He has a strong profile.
Marcos Llorente
He's almost already playing as a forward, at Atlético as the second striker. The normal thing is to change your position, becoming deeper in your role, but with Llorente it is the other way around.
Ansu Fati
Regardless of how old you are, injuries are part of football. It is a sad moment but he will overcome it. He will be the old Ansu again.
Frank de Boer
Frank de Boer was my teammate at Barça and I have shared a lot with him. His idea of football is what we see with the Netherlands. I wish him good luck in tomorrow's game.
