During their recent visit to the city of Doha, the Evaluation Committee affiliated to the Asian Olympic Council, recognized the efficiency of the services which Aspetar is able to provide to athletes participating in the Asian Games. Aspetar, a pioneer and world leading specialist centre in modern sports medicine, offers high-level integrated clinical services to universal standards in curing sports injuries, thanks to the hospital's experienced staff, as well as the high capacity at the level of medical supplies.

Aspetar's expertise in treating sports injuries

Last week’s visit allowed the Committee to see first-hand details about Aspetar and its impressive facilities, as well as its expertise in treating the most complicated cases of sports injuries, in addition to offering recovering athletes a suitable environment for their rehabilitation.

The visitors were full of praise for everything they saw at Aspetar, one of the most important venues on the Committee's agenda during their visit, which also included routes in various sports facilities, including the Qatar 2022 stadiums: Al Bayt, Education City and Al Janoub, in addition to a tour of the Aspire Foundation and Doha metro – in which they were able to view the technology behind the transport system which fans will use to get around as well as the proximity of the metro stations in relation to venues and sports facilities.
