The international football governing body has announced that the Club World Cup draw will be held in Zurich on Wednesday 19 of January, as Qatari capital Doha is preparing to host the competition between 1 and 11 February.

The tournament's games will be held at three stadiums; Al Rayyan Stadium, Khalifa international stadium, and the city of education stadium that will host the final game on 11 February.

The competition's line-up will be completed by the end of January when CONMEBOL champions are decided to join UEFA CL champions Bayern Munich, Al-Ahly of Egypt the champions of CAF CL, South Korean Ulsan Hyundai AFC CL champions, CONCACAF champions Tiger UANL of Mexico, Australian Auckland city and Qatari Al-Duhail that will represent the host country.

Al-Duhail's journey will start with their fixture against Auckland city on 1 February, in a game that will be held at Al Rayyan stadium.

The Qatari Football Association officials believe that the experience of hosting such an important event will be a great step in their preparation for the 2022 World Cup.

The Chief executive of Qatar club World Cup Nasse Al Khater stressed that hosting such an event will give Qatar a great opportunity to ensure the readiness of its stadiums for the most prestigious football competition it's set to host in 2022 pointing out that huge efforts have been made to ensure the safety of players and fans during the sports event the country has recently organized in addition to the ones it's getting ready to host in the near future.
