Former Oman goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi, who is an ambassador for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the body responsible for organising the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has lauded the "world-class" service provided by the Aspetar sports-medicine and orthopaedic hospital in Doha.
"Sports stars worldwide will be making the right choice of they come to Aspetar"
In a video posted on the hospital's website and social-media accounts, Al Habsi said: "I am proud to be among the footballers who have been treated at Aspetar and I am very happy with the experience I had during my time at the hospital. It’s a world-class facility for athletes recovering from injuries and I think sports stars worldwide will be making the right choice if they come to Aspetar for treatment and rehabilitation before returning to the action.
"The rehabilitation I underwent at Aspetar couldn’t have gone better: the facilities and quality of service help you to get back to fitness after an injury and also ensure that there is no fear of relapse. Aspetar is a cut above in every way; it’s an outstanding sports-medicine and orthopaedics clinic."
