Who is singing the national anthem at Super Bowl LV 2021?

Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church are the two artists who will sing the Star Spangled Banner, the United States national anthem, at Super Bowl LV 2021.

Just as in every year, several artists take part in the Super Bowl celebrations. Whether singing the US national anthem or performing at the halftime show, music always plays an important role in this event.

For Super Bowl LV 2021, the NFL has designated Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church, both Grammy-nominated singers and songwriters, to sing The Star Spangled Banner, the United States national anthem. Before they sing, GRAMMY-award winning artist H.E.R will perform the patriotic America the Beautiful. The two performances will occur just before the game kicks-off.

Who are Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church?

Jazmine Sullivan, 33, is an American R&B singer who has twelve Grammy nominations. Seven were due to her debut album, Fearless, in 2009 two came in 2010 for the single Lions, Tigers & Bears, one in 2011 for Holding You Down, three in 2016 for her song Let It Burn and the Reality Show album. The last one was achieved in 2020 after the song Built for Love. Songs like Bust Your Windows, In Love With Another Man or Insecure are some of her hit songs.

Eric Church, 43, is an American country music singer with ten Grammy nominations in his career. He earned one in 2012 for his album, Chief, two in 2013 for the single Springsteen, five in 2015 due to the songs Give Me Back My Hometown and Raise 'Em Up as well as the album The Outsiders and two in 2020 for the Desperate Man album and the song Some of It.
