Piqué raged at his teammates during their 4-1 defeat to PSG at the Camp Nou in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 1st leg match and ended up in a potty-mouthed exchange of words with striker Antoine Griezmann who had tried to calm him down, but ended up swearing at the defender. Warning: bad languge follows

Piqué angry over lack of possession from Barcelona

After PSG won a corner in the second half, Piqué exploded at his teammates' inability to impose themselves on the game. With no fans in the crowd absolutely every word could be heard.

"Not one fucking long spell of possession, for fucks sake. Fucking hell! Come on!" screamed Piqué.

"Easy", responded teammate Antoine Griezmann, but Piqué was not willing to be pacified, shouting back at the striker: "Fuck's sake. Not one decent spell of possession!"

"That's enough Geri, easy," Griezmann tried again to calm Piqué down to no avail, with the defender rounding on the striker: "Fuck's sake Grizi, fucking hell!"

Griezmann had now had enough too and told Piqué to "fuck off". The defender, running out of verbal imagination came back with: "No, fuck off yourself".

Piqué did then try and explain what he was complaining about, saying: "We're suffering, we've been like this for five minutes!"

Piqué subbed off after 78 minutes

The Barcelona star was taken off after 78 in a triple switch, coming off with Busquets and Pedri, with Trincao, Riqui Puig and Pjanic taking their places.
