Eden Hazard is hoping to return to the Real Madrid squad fitter and sharper than ever, after his latest injury setback ruled him out of recent LaLiga action with Los Blancos.

The never-ending run of injuries since joining from Chelsea for €100 million in the summer of 2019 continues, with the Belgian international also battling with weight problems at the same time.

According to Madrid-based journalist José Luis Sánchez, Hazard has lost four kilograms in the last couple of weeks as he once again finds himself in the physio's room, away from the first team squad.

Along with his poor form on the pitch, his weight issues have also been questioned over the past 18 months. According to transfermarkt.com, Hazard is now worth €50 million, half the price Madrid paid for him less than two years ago.
