David Beckham's family join Inter Miami’s training sessions
Romeo and Cruz joined the Miami Major League Soccer franchise as they underwent their preseason ahead of their home opener against the LA Galaxy.
Inter Miami CF is undergoing their preseason ahead of their home opener against the Los Angeles Galaxy on 18 April. The team is entering their sophomore season in Major League Soccer and the co-owner of the team was not pleased with the results in their debut season so he is taking a more active role this year.
The first major decision was to let go of manager Diego Alonso and appoint former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville. Inter Miami have made several signings from the Premier League and the English Championship ahead of the 2021 Major League Soccer season.
Not pleased with what Beckham saw
As the team is preparing for their season home opener against the Los Angeles Galaxy on 18 April, Beckham sons, Cruz (18) and Romeo (16), watched the team in their practice session on Sunday. According to The Sun, the Beckham family flew in January to celebrate the New Year.
David Beckham was present at the practice on Sunday and he didn’t seem happy with what he was seeing. The co-owner of Inter Miami seemed concerned and his expectations are very high for the upcoming season. His entire family flew to the United States to be present at the first game of the season and he wants the team to win the MLS Cup.
