Resident Evil Village demo: date, times, how to play on PS4/PS5, Xbox and PC
The new horror video game from Capcom is set to be released next month, with free demos soon to be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and 5.
Video game lovers rejoice over news that game developers Capcom will release their next title, Resident Evil Village, next month. The game will be the eighth instalment in the Resident Evil series, which was first introduced in 1996.
With a total of over 107 million units sold worldwide, the Resident Evil franchise is ranked as the best-selling horror game series of all time.
When is the game slated for release?
Fans can expect to begin play on May 7, 2021. Those eager to start playing can pre-order the game now.
What can players expect?
According to Tech Radar, a popular site for online news about gaming, Resident Evil 8 takes place a few years after the previous game’s timeline and will introduce new characters while holding on to favorites like Chris Redfield.
Resident Evil Village will tie in the romance and adventure that fans have come to love, and just as to be expected, after “tragedy strikes,” Ethan will travel to hell to recover his kidnapped daughter.
When will it be released for which devices?
On 7 May, the newest edition of this classic series will be available for PS5 and PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC.
Are there any demos available?
On 16 April, Capcom announced that players interested in getting their hands on the game early would be able to access demos starting 15 April, depending on the device they use to play.
Those using PS5 or PS4 can get access to 30-minute demos starting:
