NBA Playoffs 2021: can fans go to stadiums?
As covid-19 vaccines roll out across the United States the NBA has started to open up with attendance caps being introduced across tle league.
When the NBA 2020-2021 season began, teams knew they would be allowed to have fans at home games, and with the surge in vaccinations across the US, they have slowly started to open up. Some teams anticipate having three thousand fans by early May if things continue to be positive with covid-19 vaccination and possible outbreaks.
Guidelines and restrictions can vary from state to state, and what each team decides to implement based on these. At the moment, only two franchises - Portland and Oklahoma - have no fans at their home games.
