Paris, LA to join London as three-time hosts

Having been chosen to host the Summer Olympics in 2024, Paris will become only the second city after London to stage the Games three times.

Four years after that, Los Angeles is also due to stage its third Olympics. Paris and LA were confirmed as the 2024 and 2028 hosts, respectively, in September 2017.

Meanwhile, 2008 venue Beijing is set to establish itself as the only city to stage both the Summer and Winter Games when it hosts the Winter Olympics in 2022.
