It’s Saturday 19 June. It's Day 9 of Euro 2020. Let's check out what action lies ahead as the second round of the group stages continues...
Hungary vs France | 9 am ET
France will try to get their second Euro 2020 win against Hungary in Budapest after a solid performance against Germany (1-0) in their opening match in Group F.
The hosts, who lost 3-0 to Portugal in their first game, will have a hard task against the big favorites to win the tournament, as they need to get a positive result if they want to stand a chance to advance to the knockout stages.
Hungary’s 11-game unbeaten streak across all competitions ended at the hands of Cristiano Ronaldo & Co., but Marco Rossi’s squad showed they can surprise the ‘big teams’, as Portugal were unable to score until the 84th minute, after Szabolcs Schon had a goal ruled out for offside.
France have now won five matches in a row with five clean sheets and Italy is the only European squad to boast more clean sheets than Didier Deschamps’ men since the turn of the year.
Moreover, France go into the match on a five-match winning streak against Hungary, who haven’t defeated Les Bleus since 1976.
AS English prediction: Hungary 0-2 France
Venue: Ferenc Puskás, Budapest, Hungary
Kick-off time: 9am ET, 6am PT, 3pm CEST

Portugal vs Germany | 12 noon ET
Portugal will be aiming to book a ticket to the next round of the competition when they face Germany in Munich on Saturday evening.
Fernando Santos’ squad beat Hungary in the opening game of the group, as expected, while Germany, who were defeated by France, will have to play at their best to get a positive result that will keep them in the fight for a spot in the round of 16.
A Seleçao grabbed the three points thanks to a late Raphael Guerreiro opener before Cristiano Ronaldo came up with a double to become the all-time leading goalscorer in the tournament's history.
Portugal seem to be quite comfortable in the European Championship, as they reached the semi-finals in 1984, 2000 and 2012, while they were present in the final eight of Euro 1996 and Euro 2008. They were also runners-up on home soil at Euro 2004 and are the titleholders, having beaten France 1-0 in the final of Euro 2016.
Santos's team are now on a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions, but they have lost their last four international matches against Germany, who will try to qualify for the round of 16 for the fourth consecutive time after failing to make it out of the group stage in 2000 and 2004.
AS English prediction: Portugal 1-1 Germany
Venue: Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany
Kick-off time: 12 noon ET, 9am PT, 6pm CEST

Spain vs Poland | 3pm ET
Spain, another contender for European glory, will try to collect their first three points when they face Poland in Seville after a goalless draw against Sweden in the first match. Meanwhile, Poland lost 2-1 to Slovakia, which has placed them in a tough situation ahead of this match.
Spain, who are looking to win a fourth European Championship, which would make them the most successful team in the history of the competition, probably feel they deserved to win against the Sweden, whose goalkeeper Robin Olsen had a great performance.
If Luis Enrique’s men manage to beat Poland, they would be in a strong position heading into their final group game against Slovakia.
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski & Co., who have won just one of their last eight matches in all competitions, are bottom of the group and will keep an eye on what happens between Sweden and Slovakia on Friday afternoon.
Poland have only emerged victorious in one of their previous 10 international games with Spain, losing eight of those ties.
AS English prediction: Spain 2-0 Poland
Venue: La Cartuja, Seville, Spain
Kick-off time: 3pm ET, 12 noon PT, 9pm CEST
