Happy Father’s Day: messages, quotes, images and memes to celebrate
Father’s Day is upon us once again and to help ensure the dads in your life feel celebrated, we have compiled some quotes, messages, and more.
Roughly three-quarters of American adults plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year. The celebration, started in 1910, grew in popularity quickly but took over six decades to become nationally recognized. It became a national holiday in 1972 after President Richard Nixon declared the third Sunday in June a time to reflect on the importance of fatherhood.
Americans are celebrating their dads on 16 June this year.
Writing a card for that special father
It can be difficult to express just how much someone means to you, and with fathers it seems like we need to go that extra mile. As long as it is from the heart you can’t go wrong. But before you put pen to paper, take a minute to think about his personality to get the creative juices flowing and go from there. You may want to throw in a quote or two.
