This year’s NBA finalists the Phoenix Suns have three big money players among their ranks. The franchise’s two highest-paid players are Chris Paul and Devin Booker, who command eight-figure salaries and are among the top 30 highest paid NBA stars. The third and final Suns player earning eight figures is rookie Deandre Ayton, whose salary is $10,018,200 this season, which will rise to $12,632,950 in 2021/22.
In terms of total salary bill, the Suns ranked 21st in 2021 at $128,858,241. In comparison the top three teams, the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers, have salaries bills totalling $171,105,334, $169,132,133 and $147,825,311, respectively.
How much does Chris Paul make?
Chris Paul is the second highest paid player in the NBA in 2020/21 behind Stephen Curry, with a salary of $41,358,814. The 36-year-old is also the highest-paid player at the Phoenix Suns by a long shot.
Should Paul accept the player option on the table this summer, his salary will rise to $44,211,146 in 2021/22. The 11-time All-Star makes an estimated $8 million from endorsements alone. His endorsements include Panini, Nike, Air Jordan, Tissot, and State Farm.

Three years later in 2018, he signed the richest deal in Phoenix Suns franchise history, worth $158 million over five years. In 2021-22, Booker will earn a base salary of $31,650,600, with his salary peaking at $36 million for the 2023-24 NBA season under his current deal.
The two-time All-Star reportedly makes a further $6 million a year from endorsements with Nike and Finish Line, with his net worth estimated at at least $100 million.
How much does Cameron Johnson make?
Cameron Johnson is the eight highest paid player at Phoenix Suns and ranks 228th on the overall NBA list in 2021/22, with a salary of $4,235,160. The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted Johnson with the eleventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft, then immediately traded him to the Phoenix Suns, with whom he signed a 3 year / $12,705,600 contract, including $12,705,600 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $4,235,200. In 2021-22, Johnson will earn a base salary of $4,437,000.
In 2019 Johnson signed an endorsement deal with Nike, though it is understood that the value of that endorsement deal has never been disclosed.
