How tall and what age are the USA gymnasts?
We profile the women's gymnasts at Team USA as they enter their most difficult competition of their careers.

Much of the discussion around the Team USA women's gymnasts has focused on Simone Biles, one of the most famous Olympic gymnasts in a generation. However, the team is greater than one person and Biles has five other teammates: Grace McCullum, Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, MyKayla Skinner and Jade Carey.

- Olympic experience: reserve gymnast for Rio 2016 but failed to make the cut, despite a fourth highest overall scoring in qualifying.

How are they performing so far?
Despite Biles' pulling out of the Team Final, the team went on to win their first medal of the games, finishing with Silver medals behind the Russian Olympic Association. There are many more events to come and the team has a chance to pick up more medals yet.

Biles has also stated that she will not participate in the Women's Individual All-Around which is scheduled for 29 July, with Jade Carey to take her place. It's unsure whether she will compete again at this years' games, whcih would surely be her last.
