The Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio marked the first of an onslaught of preseason games that await us over the next month. Those who are looking to get an up close and personal preview of their favorite NFL franchise before Week 1, will find preseason tickets accessible and affordable.

Preseason cut to three weeks

During the offseason, NFL owners voted to expand the regular season to 17 games, coming at the expense of one week of preseason. Fans will still have three weeks to watch their favorite teams fine tune before the first week of the season.

Owners and fans alike will surely be itching see the NFL stadiums packed after Covid-19 cut attendance across the country in the 2020 season. This season each of the 32 teams have been cleared for full capacity. The Indianapolis Colts were the last team waiting for permission, and they finally got the green light in late June.

So now that fans can pack the stands, where can they get tickets for these preseason games? And how much will it cost fans to watch their teams gear up for the regular season?

Preseason tickets as low as $12

Entry to preseason games costs a fraction on what NFL fans would pay for a regular season or playoff game. There are tickets around the league going for as little as $12 per ticket. The Eagles and Steelers will face off in Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday and tickets are going from $32 to $525. According to ticketmaster.com the average price for a preseason ticket is $101.09.

There are two top ticketing platforms for buying tickets to NFL preseason and regular season games. StubHub.com is the worlds biggest online ticket vendor. The website offers tickets to live sports, music and theater events around the world. The NFL and StubHub has a partnership to sell tickets for all 32 NFL teams.
