Last season's beaten semi-finalists PSG will fancy their chances of progressing from Group A where they will face Man City, RB Leipzig and Club Brugge.
Last Thursday, the 32 participants in this year's UEFA Champions League discovered their group stage opponents ahead of the start of the next stage of the competition. The following day, following the completion of both the Conference and Europa League draws,European football's governing body confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the 2021/22 group stage.

At a casual glance it would appear difficult for even the most ardent Brugge or RB Leipzig fan see any other outcome to Group A other than the both PSG and beaten finalists in 2021 City from advancing to the Round of 16.
Both the Belgian and German sides will look to secure good results at home and hope to deliver an upset on the road but with deep pockets and the acquisition of Messi, Hakimi, Donnarumma, Ramos and Wijnaldum this summer to add to an already strong squad that includes the likes of Veratti, Marquinhos, Neymar and at the time of writing Mbappé, it would be a major, major upset if city and the Ligue 1 side failed to advance.
