Lamar Jackson surpasses Dan Marino

The Baltimore Ravens set the best record in the AFC on Sunday, courtesy of another stellar performance by quarterback Lamar Jackson. With Jackson at the helm, the Ravens took apart the Los Angeles Chargers en route to a 34-6 victory.

Along the way Jackson passed Dan Marino as he set the new NFL record for the most wins by a quarterback under the age of 25 since the 1970 merger. It was Jackson's 35th win. With their latest victory - against a direct rival - the Ravens now boast a record of 5-1, which is currently the best record in the conference

Another record for Lamar Jackson

For a little perspective Lamar Jackson is now 35-8 and will celebrate his 25th birthday on Jan. 7. There has been no quarterback below the age of 25 who has posted more than 30 wins in the last 20 years. The Baltimore Ravens have indeed been a revelation since Jackson came in. Having won the Super Bowl in 2012 they have registered more or less a 1-1 win to loss ratio since. Jackson, it is clear, has different ideas.

This record comes just under a week after the former Heisman winner became the first player in NFL history to register 400 yards passing, four touchdown passes, no interceptions and 50 yards rushing in a dramatic overtime win as Baltimore's beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-25 on Monday night
