Milwaukee Bucks 21/22: roster, new signings, cuts and trades
The Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA title last season, and this year they want to do a repeat with a big part of the team that brought them victory.
The Milwaukee Bucks went through some major changes to come up with the lineup that eventually won them their first title in 50 years, and they return with largely the same roster that won them the championship last season, although there are some new faces as well.
The team will be playing with all five starters from the last year, so continuity will be ensured in this regard. The main change will be the loss of forward P.J. Tucker who has signed with the Miami Heat.
Other NBA stories:
DiVincenzo's recovery is key
It is hoped that Donte DiVincenzo has fully recovered from a season-ending injury he suffered during the playoffs. He is likely to start for the Bucks instead of newly acquired Grayson Allen because of his previous experience with the team.
If DiVincenzo returns in good shape as hoped for, his effective combination with Jrue Holiday will once more be in play. And because Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton will all be in action as well, the Bucks end up with the same five-man team that powered them through to the championships. The chemistry between them has been proven to be effective, and the coming matches will show if that connection has only improved over time.
