Skywalker does not approve

Rodgers wore the the sweater with the ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ logo on Tuesday when he appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, where he admitted that he misled people with his comments, and said that he took responsibility for his remarks.

In a post on Twitter, Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the iconic movie franchise, wrote, “Of all the sweatshirts he could have worn, he had to take full responsibility in THAT one?”, followed by a crying emoji. Hamill attached a clip of Rodgers’ interview to his Tweet.

Fan of the famous franchise

Rodgers is a big Star Wars fan, and has his own Obi Wan Kenobi robe. His Instagram profile photo is a cartoon version of him as Luke Skywalker’s mentor. The actor’s comments could possibly have stung the quarterback a tiny little bit.

The three-time NFL MVP recently tested positive for covid-19 and admitted that he had not been vaccinated. This admission ran contrary to his comments made in August to reporters that he was “immunized”.
