Packers count on Aaron Rodgers for Sunday’s game vs Seahawks
Green Bay Packers’ coach Matt LaFleur feels good about Aaron Rodgers returning to the field Sunday vs Seattle Seahawks, while QB Jordan Love stays on hold.
Green Bay Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after testing positive for covid-19 last Wednesday, Nov. 3.
The Packers dropped to 7-2 after losing 13-7 to the Chiefs with back-up QB Jordan Love under centre in Kansas City.
Second-year pro Jordan Love, who completed 19-of-34 passes for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the 13-7 loss to the Chiefs, is prepared for anything on Sunday. "I’m preparing like I'm going to be playing" just in case the team's medical staff rules Rodgers out for any reason, and then obviously the plan is for Aaron to be back Saturday so he'll be going.
Love seems to feel the same way about his past week in training, “For me, it's the same. Still playing the whole week and then we'll be ready for whatever happens."
