Week 15 of the 2021 NFL season has been a rather wild one with covid-19 distorting the schedule and Jaguars’ coach Urban Meyer getting fired. Sunday has brought us even wilder games, with several jaw-dropping moments, including Brady and the Bucs shutting out.

Some of the highlights we saw on Sunday: While the Lions stupefied Arizona, the Giants saw another double-digit loss this season; the Cowboys did it again, and the Steelers somehow won. Who became the first team to clinch a playoff spot clearing out the playoff picture? the Packers...

Let's take a look at just how Sunday's match-ups worked out with selected summaries…

Week 15 NFL Sunday 19 December results

Patriots 17-27 Colts - How we covered it live

Cowboys 21-6 Giants - How we covered it live

Packers 31-30 Ravens - How we covered it live

Cardinals 12-30 Lions

The Arizona Cardinals started off hot in 2020 and have been slowly collapsing since. Today, the Lions entered with a 1-11-1 record and earned a glorious 30-12 victory over the Cardinals, who were 10-3 going into Week 15. This game marked the 10th matchup won by a team over a rival with more than four victories this season, tied for the fifth-most through this Week.

Titans 13-19 Steelers

What we learned about the game against Tennessee at Heinz Field on Sunday was: Pittsburgh kept the Titans out of the end zone all but once, and Tennessee committed four turnovers to zero for the Steelers. Pittsburgh won 19-13, somehow.

Bengals 15-10 Broncos

The first 43 minutes between those two teams saw approximately zero touchdowns, then the game got interesting, both in a good and a bad way with the Bengals winning 15-10. Cincinnati responded to Denver’s performance with Joe Burrow and Tyler Boyd teaming up as Boyd outran two defenders for a classic 56-yard touchdown. The worse news for Denver came following a 6-yard scramble when QB Teddy Bridgewater lied motionless after scaringly hitting his head. He was then carried off the field.

Falcons 13-31 49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 235 yards, Jeff Wilson rushed for 110 more and the 49ers enjoyed a 31-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The 49ers improve to 8-6 and stay in the No. 6 spot in the playoff race with this victory. Los Angeles, who play on Tuesday in a rescheduled game, are now ahead of San Francisco at No. 5 in the NFC wild-card race.

Jets 24-31 Dolphins

The Dolphins extended their winning streak to 6, rallying past the Jets 31-24

Panthers 14-31 Bills

Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and the Bills held off the Panthers, winning 31-14. Buffalo has gained ground in the AFC East race

Texans 30-16 Jaguars

Without much ado, the Texans ended a 3-game skid with a 30-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Saints 9-0 Bucs

The Saints stunned Brady and the Buccaneers with their first shutout win since they defeated Tampa Bay 41-0 in 2012. Neither teams scored a touchdown, but New Orleans' defense was the definition of persistence, consistently keeping Tampa Bay behind the line. The Saints made history with their 9-0 victory
