What teams are left in the NFL playoffs?

There are only a few weeks of NFL action left in the season, and only four teams have games left to play after the Bills, Packers, Titans and Bucs lost out.

With only a few games left in the NFL 2021 season, the number of teams left in the running has gone down to four.

Other NFL stories:

The Green Bay Packers suffered a stunning 13-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers and lost their chance to head to the NFC Championship. The Tennessee Titans were kicked out of the AFC Championship race by the Cincinnati Bengals after a late field goal sealed their loss at 19-16. And on Sunday night in the first game, the Bucs crashed out despite an amazing comeback to tie the game at 27-27, only to lose to a field goal in the dying seconds after a stunning Cooper Kupp run.

Sunday games

The Los Angeles Rams headed to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers in Raymond James Stadium in Florida in the third of four games in the NFL divisional round. The Rams were coming from a 34-11 wild card win over the Arizona Cardinals, while the Buccaneers were fresh from defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 31-15.

The Rams dominated much of the game, but were pegged back by Brady and the Bucs who looked to have the momentum as they tied the game with less than a minute left. The Rams were not to be denied though and clinched it with a late, late field goal.

The Rams will now play host and go up against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan. 30.

Chiefs 42-36 Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to their fourth consecutive AFC Championship after winning a thriller in Arrowhead to close out the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Kansas City held off the Buffalo Bills in dramatic fashion on Sunday night.

A wild final two minutes of regulation that saw 24 points scored was capped off by a three play, 13 second field goal drive by Kansas City to force overtime. The Chiefs won the toss in overtime and Patrick Mahomes led the game winning drive that ended with an eight yard Travis Kelce touchdown to seal the 42-36 win.

They will be back home next week to face the Bengals in the AFC Championships.

The Conference champions will then meet at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California for Super Bowl 56 on Sunday, Feb. 13, wrapping up what has turned out to be a rollercoaster of an NFL season.
