WATCH: LeBron makes two straight dunks
LeBron’s still got it at 37 years old. In the Lakers 106-96 victory over the Nets, LeBron scored 33 points with two dunks about 15 seconds apart.
LeBron James continued to impress with yet another remarkable performance on Tuesday night when the LA Lakers took down the Brooklyn Nets. Going into the game, the headlines were all about Anthony Davis’ return after being out for over a month. LeBron stole the headlines though, with his outstanding performance.
LeBron assures the Nets don't have a chance
The Lakers didn’t have to struggle too much to stay in the lead in this game, but in the fourth quarter, the Nets were trying hard to make a comeback. LeBron must have said, “nope, don’t think so.” He cleared the path to the basket once, and then twice with back-to-back fastbreak dunks about 15 seconds apart.
He ended the game with 33 total points on 14-of-21 shooting, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, two blocks, and not a single turnover.
This was LeBron’s 18th straight game with over 25 points on the board and marked a tie with Kobe Bryant for 14th-most games played in NBA history.
"I have a passion for this sport, I have a drive for this sport,” LeBro said in the postgame. “It’s all about putting on your hard hat and putting in the work on the floor.”
Up next for the Lakers is a visit to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Thursday.
