The 2022 All-Star Game will tip off this weekend, in Cleveland, who last hosted in 1981, with Team Durant and Team LeBron meeting once again. Teams Worthy, Isaiah, Payton and Barry will start off the weekend for us with the rising stars game Friday, and several stars will be taking the limelight to show off their hoop skills in a Celebrity game

Here's how and where to watch the rising stars game.

2021 NBA All-Star Game

Last season’s All-Star Game, which was the 70th edition of the exhibition game, was played on March 7, 2021, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, home of the Atlanta Hawks.

With teams captained by LeBron James and Kevin Durant, Team LeBron won the game 170–150, in the first All-Star game to be decided by 20 or more points since the 2016 edition- when the West beat the East 196-173. There were 58 three-pointers made between the two teams, the most in the history of this meeting, surpassing the 51 in the 2016 edition.

LeBron's team attempted just 46 2-point shots in that game, the second-lowest number of two-per-game All-Star team pitches in the past 25 seasons (LeBron's team, 45 in 2019). Additionally, they scored 60 points in the second quarter, the most scored by a team in any quarter of an All-Star game. The previous record was 53, on four different occasions.

And for a fun fact worth sharing, in the last 10 All-Star games, 46.4% of all shots from the field were 3-pointers, and 22.1% of the shots from the field came from behind the arc.

Giannis Antetokounmpo who was on Team LeBron was named the All-Star Game MVP, or Most Valuable Player in 2021.

This weekend, we will witness the 2022 All-Star Game with Cleveland playing hosts for the first time since 1997, and AS USA will bringing you all the live updates as we cover the whole game. Tune in with us!
