New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is appealing to the public for help in locating his missing father, who was last seen in Pensacola, Florida on Feb. 11.

A call for any information

Robinson has taken to social media to ask for any kind of assistance in the search for his father. “My dad is missing, if you have info on his whereabouts please contact 850-436-9620”, which is the number for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO).

In an Instagram post he wrote, “Don’t know a place the devil will hide you… Come home, Pops.”

According to a Facebook post by the ECSO, the player’s father, who bears the same name as his son, “was last seen on the 7900- block of Atilla Avenue on February 11th, 2022. His clothing description at the time is unknown.”

Pensacola native

Robinson was born in Pensacola and was there for the first two years of high school at Pine Forest where he started to play basketball. He later moved to Louisiana.

The 23-year-old was selected by the Knicks as a second round pick of the 2018 draft, and has been with the team since then. He has averaged 8.4 points and 8.7 rebounds this season, with a shooting rate of 76.2 percent.
