Harden leads Sixers to victory over Knicks

It looks like the Embiid-Harden duo will live up to its expectations of domination, as they help lead the 76ers to the win over the New York Knicks.

Update:
Harden leads Sixers to victory over Knicks

It's just James Harden's second game with the Philadelphia 76ers, and so far, so good. The Sixers got an easy win over the Knicks on Sunday, 125-109, taking them to 37-23, just 2.5 games behind the Miami Heat for first place in the East.

The Harden-Joel Embiid duo did not disappoint. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding Harden's joining the Sixers and teaming up with Embiid. On Sunday, they proved why. Embiid finished with 37 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks, and Harden finished with 29 points, 16 assists, and ten rebounds, making his 68th career triple-double.

Embiid is already difficult to defend against. Adding Harden to the mix just made it even more so. Harden creates the angles, feeds Embiid the ball, and lets him work his magic. In the final minutes of the game, Embiid made two free throws after a pick-and-roll with Harden.

Let's not ignore Tyrese Maxey either. He made two three-pointers in the first half of the game as well as a fast-break shot in the third quarter. Harden's ability to pass against the defense gives Maxey the opportunity to show off his speed and ability. Maxey finished with 21 points and seven rebounds.

Harden, Embiid, and Maxey have a combined score of 176 points over the last two games.
