The top goal scorer in PSG's history, Uruguay star and Manchester United striker, Edinson Cavani is making plans for the future. The 35-year-old will soon be out of contract at Old Trafford, where he has been given less playing time this season, and Real Sociedad are keen to take him to San Sebastián.

Isak on Arsenal's agenda

Anticiptaing Alexander Isak possible departure this summer - with Arsenal leading the chase for the Swedish striker, Cavani would be an excellent alternative, arriving as a free agent.

A proven goal scorer in South America, Italy, France and England, the Uruguayan would finally end up playing in LaLiga for the first time in his career. There is also interest from elsewhere - Inter Milan and River Plate are believed to be interested. According to the English press, Cavani has already been holding talks with Real Sociedad. There was a positive outcome to those talks and the player seems to be open to accept La Real's offer.

During a season in which playing time hasn't come easy due to injuries together with fierce competition with Cristiano Ronaldo for a starting place in Manchester United's attack, Cavani has totalled just 761 minutes on-field spread over 17 games in which he has managed to score just a couple of goals and one assist. Real Sociedad are confident in his ability to give their attack an extra edge. If he joins and delivers his best, La Real will surely improve their position at the top end of the table in LaLiga and in Europe.
