NCAA Baseball Week 8 Standings

Update:
Week 8 in college baseball sees Tennessee become titans in the polls, unanimously holding the top spot for a second week after their sweep of Vanderbilt

Not content to simple get to the top for the first time ever, Tennessee swept Vanderbilt over the weekend, to plant their flag in the polls. They are number one, and they really mean it.

The Vols are riding a program-record 19-game winning streak, their 9-0 start in SEC play is the second best for any team since the conference expanded to 12 teams in 1991. With the series loss, Vanderbilt tumbled eight spots to number 19.

Virginia took the number three spot with their series win against Georgia Tech and the Hogs overpowered Mississippi State with four home runs to clinch their 13th consecutive SEC series win at Baum-Walker Stadium.

Ole Miss improved to 19-8, and 4-5 in the SEC with a road win at Kentucky.

UCLA returned to the rankings with a sweep of Oregon after a short absence at number 15, while Southern Mississippi debuts this season at 18 following a series win against Louisiana Tech and NC State clawed its way into the top 25 with a series win at Clemson.
