A first look at the setlist of Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’
Beyoncé has just wrapped up the opening night of her first solo tour since 2016.
Beyoncé fans were obsessively following along with the opening night of Beyoncé's ‘Renaissance Tour’ at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, with a three-hour-long set with no opening acts.
Featuring plenty of exciting visuals from a giant disco ball, robot backup dancers, and some of the first ‘Renaissance’ visuals ever seen since the album was released last July.

Beyoncé began the show on a slow note, with oldies but goodies ‘Dangerously in Love’, marking the first time she’s performed the song live in over a decade, and ‘Flaws and All’, before going into a medley of ‘1+1′, Etta James’ ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’, and ‘I’m Going Down’ by Mary J. Blige.
With no opening acts for her tour, this segment was just a warm-up before her main show.
Beyoncé then went into two ‘Renaissance’ tracks, ‘I’m That Girl’ and ‘Cozy’ giving fans the ‘Renaissance’ visuals they’ve been asking for, as no music videos for the album have been made.
Beyoncé even made reference to her fans’ demands, with Big Freedia’s voice saying, “You’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the queen. But the queen moves at her own pace, bi—. The queen decides when she wants to give you a f—ing taste. So get your fork and your spoon.”
‘Cozy’ saw the singer performing a dance routine with robot arms, framing the singer in different poses as they circled around her.
During ‘Partition’ she rode what has now been dubbed as the ‘Bey Wagon’, while dancing on a pole and riding to the stage which showed a pair of Hajime Sorayama-inspired robot legs on the screen.
The robot arms appeared once more, seemingly dressing the singer into a kaleidoscopic gown as she launched into ‘Church Girl.’
She later performed her own rendition of the “stiff hips” dance during ‘Diva’.
‘Renaissance Tour’ European leg
The ‘Renaissance Tour’ will continue in Europe for the next two months, including five shows in London.
In July, Beyoncé will then make her way to Toronto, before performing through the United States, with the 50-date tour concluding in September in New Orleans.
