Adam Sandler reveals why he wears baggy clothes: It’s not what you think
The 58-year-old confessed to what is behind is fashion sense on the Pardon My Take Podcast.
Adam Sandler is famous as a comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician for over 30 years with his breakthrough coming over thirty years ago.
Sandler first gained widespread recognition as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” in the early 1990s. He created memorable characters like Opera Man, Canteen Boy, and Cajun Man.
The Brooklyn native then transitioned to the big screen and was involved in a string of successful comedy films such as: “Billy Madison,” “Happy Gilmore,” “The Waterboy,” “The Wedding Singer,” and “Big Daddy”
Beyond acting, Sandler is also a musician, releasing several multi-platinum comedy albums and continuing to tour with sold-out comedy shows.
Baggy clothes
Speaking to the Pardon My Take Podcast as part of the promotion drive for Happy Gilmore 2, he was asked about fashion and wearing baggier clothing.
“The baggy stuff for the young Adam Sandler started for a reason,” the actor claimed.
“I used to be - and this is not a lie - jacked. I was jacked, I [had a] beautiful body so when I would hide it and then surprise you at the beach when this stuff came off.
