The American Heart Association has claimed that Taylor Swift’s song ‘The Man’ can save lives. According to the institution, the song’s tempo is a formidable aid when performing CPR.

The AHA has cited the song as having 110 beats per minute, just “the right tempo” for performing hands-only chest compressions.

The AHA declares the song life-saving

The American Heart Association posted to Instagram to remind the American public how important Taylor Swift’s music is when it comes to saving lives.

In a picture with the organization’s logo in the top left-hand corner and the phrase “Be the Beat” as the footer, the AHA wrote, “Taylor Swift’s ‘The Man’ has 110 beats per minute, the right tempo for Hands-Only CPR.”

Be The Man and be ready to save a life by learning the two steps of Hands-Only CPR,” the AHA announced. “If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911, then push hard and fast in the center of the chest,”

“A song with 100-120 beats per minute – like Taylor Swift’s ‘The Man’ – can help you keep the right rhythm. #TSTheErasTour,”” the organization advised, adding an ‘Eras Tour’ hashtag.

Swift fans were over the moon about the announcement.

“Let me know what other taylor swift songs I can use,” one person said.

“I had a heart attack on 12/22/22 and on the way to the hospital told the EMTs I needed to get better to see Taylor,” another fan declared. “Can confirm she has saved my life!”

“Put TS in the simulation next week,” someone else exclaimed.

“Us swifties were conditioned to become mediciners from an early age,” another fan chimed in.

Since Swift’s ‘Era’s Tour’ began, towns have changed their name after her and declared her as mayor in honor of the singer’s arrival, and universities like Standforn and NYU have implemented courses to study the singer’s lyrics.
