Al Pacino’s Dating History: From Diane Keaton to Noor Alfallah

Over the course of his career, Al Pacino has had some high-profile relationships. The 82-year-old actor is currently in a relationship with Noor Alfallah, who is 29.

The pair are expecting their first child as Alfallah is eight weeks pregnant. They were first linked in April 2022.

Although he has never been married, the Oscar-winning actor has had several relationships and three previous children. However, Pacino explains that marriage is not off the table for him despite his age.

“Of course, it’s possible [I’ll get married]. It seems beside the point though,” the actor told the Boston Herald in 2015. “I have no idea, but I never say never.”

Let’s take a look back at Al Pacino’s relationships over the years.

The 1970s to late 1980s

Pacino first dated Oscar nominee Jill Clayburgh for several years, but the relationship ended in 1972 when Pacino broke up with her.

Despite their break up, Clayburgh told The Washington Post at the time, that she and Pacino were “still friends; we see each other now and then.”

After that, Pacino briefly fated actress Tuesday Weld. The pair also starred in the 1982 movie ‘Author! Author!’ together.

Next, Pacino had an on and off again relationship with his ‘Bobby Deerfield’ costar Marthe Keller. They dated for two years in total.

“We didn’t know if they would end up loving or hating each other,” director Sydney Pollack told People in 1977.

“What I feel about Al belongs to me,” Keller shared at the time. “Talking about us seems like playing a striptease with my soul.”

Pacino and Diane Keaton met on the set of ‘The Godfather’ in 1971. The two dated on and off again throughout the late 1980s and ultimately broke up in 1990 after Keaton gave Pacino an ultimatum asking him to marry her.

Despite their differences, the two remain friends and Pacino described Keaton as “a great artist. I love you forever,” while delivering her the American Film Institute’s 45th Lifetime Achievement Award on stage.

The 1990s to early 2000s

Pacino dated Australian hostess, director, and producer Lyndall Hobbs for several years in the ‘90s, shortly after Pacino split from Keaton. They eventually split as Hobbs wanted to have children and later went on to adopt a son after the breakup.

Pacino reportedly had an affair with his ‘Carlito’s Way’ costar Penelope Ann Miller while linked to Hobbs. Miller subtly confirmed the affair in 1993 to People explaining “It’s not a secret and I’m not ashamed of it.”

Pacino and the ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ actress Beverly D’Angelo met in 1996 on a flight to New York City. After dating for a few years, they welcomed twins Anton and Olivia in 2001.

However, later in 2004 the couple split, almost ten years later in March 2023, D’Angelo describes their relationship as complicated and hinges on the love for their children and co-parenting together.

The late 2000s to the present day

Several years later, Pacino dated Argentine actor Lucila Solá, also known as Lucila Polak, from 2008 to 2018. The two share no children together.

Shortly after, Pacino was linked to Israeli actress Meital Dohan in the same year. The two went on to date until 2020, but eventually split due to their age gap, as explained by Dolan.

Pacino’s long history of relationships brings him to today, where he is happily dating Noor Alfallah and expecting a child together after over two years of seeing each other.
