Anna Delvey, the subject of the Shonda Rhimes Netflix series ‘Inventing Anna’ starring Julia Garner as Delvey, is setting her sights on a new career in entertainment despite still being under house arrest after being convicted of a number of crimes, from grand larceny, and other financial crimes that she committed between 2013 and 2017 while pretending to be a German heiress.

Now the fake heiress will be hosting a podcast series called ‘The Anna Delvey Show’, partnering with Audio Up.

Confirmed guests on the new podcast series will be Julia Cumming, Whitney Cummings, Julia Fox, Jeremy Harris, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kenny Schachter.

She will also be releasing a new music single, but no information about the release date for that has been revealed.

What will Anna Delvey’s podcast be about?

Delvey will be hosting the series in her East Village apartment in New York during her house arrest.

In the trailer released on Wednesday, Delvey describes her podcast as a place where she and her guests will “will discuss traditional concepts of right and wrong while unpacking what it means to be a rule breaker in 2023.”

“This will be the first time I have my own platform to share my personal views on the public’s fascination with my life story while in conversation with guests across multiple industries including business, media, entertainment, art and more,” Delvey told Deadline.

“I’m interested in examining how rule breaking can build you up as well as tear you down while also creating a polarizing reaction from the public,” she added.

“The Anna Delvey Show is a truly visceral experience that taps into the public’s fierce fascination with Anna and her public image,” said Jimmy Jellinek, Audio Up’s Chief Creative Officer.

“Right or wrong, many of us find ourselves rooting for Anna’s future and that’s what this show examines,” he added.

What was Anna Delvey convicted of?

Delvey, born Anna Sorokin, a Russian-born German citizen, was convicted of several financial crimes back in 2019. She was convicted of stealing up to $250,000 from banks and hotels throughout New York City. She has received the nickname “the soho grifter.”

She was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison but was released on good behavior after nearly three years in February 2021.

But shortly after her release from prison, she was then held by ICE detention for overstaying her visa while she was incarcerated.

She still awaits a decision on whether she will be deported back to Germany.
