Are Marc Anthony and wife Nadia Ferreira expecting their first baby?

Just two weeks after their wedding, Marc Anthony and wife Nadia Ferreira celebrated Valentine’s Day by announcing that they are expecting their first child.

The couple announced in a joint Instagram post that they are expecting their first child together. This will be Anthony’s seventh child.

“Best Valentine’s Gift Ever!!! Thank you God for this huge blessing in our lives.” they revealed late Tuesday evening in a joint Instagram post, originally written in Spanish.

Ferreira’s baby bump

The post reveals Ferreira’s baby bump with both her and Anthony’s left hand placed on her stomach, showcasing their wedding rings as well.

The news comes soon after the couple tied the knot in a luxurious wedding in Miami. The date and details of the wedding were kept a secret from the public.

On the big day, Ferreria wore a Galia Lahav lace gown with sheer floral embellishments and had no visible baby bump. Anthony wore a classic Christian Dior suit.

The couple was first linked in early 2022, and were married just eight months after the official proposal announcement in May of 2022.

Anthony’s previous relationships

Anthony has six children with three of his previous partners, making the pregnancy his seventh child.

He shares two 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. Along with a 29-year-old daughter, Ariana, and son Chase, 27, with Debbie Rosado.

He and Dayanara Torres also parent two sons, Cristian, 22, and Ryan, 19. It means Ferreria and Anthony’s child will have at least a 14-year gap with their closest half-sibling.

According to ex-wife Lopex, the two are on good terms and focused on co-parenting their children.

“Marc and I are good how we are right now,” Lopez said while on ‘The View’ in March 2017.

“There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together.”

“[And] that has been even better for us. We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical, when we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.”

Since then, Lopez has rekindled her relationship with Ben Affleck, who she dated in 2002. The pair got engaged later that year and postponed their wedding in September 2003 and ultimately split up in January 2004.

However, the two began dating again in July 2021 and later wed in Las Vegas in July 2022.
