Ever since Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen announced they were getting a divorce, ending their marriage of 13 years, back in October 2022, the retired quarterback has been linked with several potential suitors.

One women who has been linked with Brady is Reese Witherspoon, who recently split from her husband of 12 years, Jim Toth.

Although the two have been linked with one another, representatives from both stars told People that there is no truth to the rumors.

In fact, one source said the two have never even met.

It all began when an anonymous tipster hinted that the two were seeing each other, sending fans into a frenzy.

“if tom brady is dating reese witherspoon, I would die. love that matchup,” wrote one Twitter user.

“I can’t explain why but Reese Witherspoon and Tom Brady somehow make sense to me?” wrote another.

However, the latest news should put to bed any talk linking the two together.

Witherspoon and Brady are both recently divorced

Witherspoon and Toth announced their separation last month, with the actress later filing for divorce on March 30.

Despite their decision to part ways, they both announced their priority was their son, 10-year-old Tennessee.

“It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” read a statement.

“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.

“Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”

Witherspoon also has two kids with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe: Ava Phillippe, 23, and Deacon Phillipe, 19.

As for Brady, he and Bündchen finalized their divorce on October 22, 2022.

“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote in a statement following the news. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.

“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We wish only the best for each other as we pursue new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.”
