Ariana Grande is currently filming the movie ‘Wicked’ set for release in 2024.
Singer and actress Ariana Grande recently spoke out on her experience filming ‘Wicked’, which began filming in 2022. Grande will be playing Galinda.
The movie is an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name and is set to release in theaters on November 27, 2024. The musical is based on the 1995 book ‘Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West’ by Gregory Maguire.
Director Jon M. Chu announced that the film adaptation of ‘Wicked’ would be split into two films.
Grande revealed in a recent Instagram post how impactful the filming journey has been for her so far. She shared a photo of a rainbow on Monday, with the caption detailing how grateful she is for the experience.

Grande’s lengthy Instagram caption revealed to fans how much the singer values her time in Oz, as filming for the movie reaches the halfway mark.
“i am so grateful, i don’t know what to do or say,” Grande began.
Grande is thankful “to be transforming and healing parts of me that i never knew needed it. or maybe did.”
She continued, “i hope this isn’t all a dream because as present as i am attempting to be, it sure does feel like one. happy halfway to this most beautiful crew.”

The actress’ heartwarming message touched many fans and celebrities alike, with some of Grande’s fellow ‘Wicked’ actors commenting on the post in appreciation for all her work.
“My sweet sweet sister. I love you so so much, this time has been so transformative, I can not imagine my life without you in it!! More beautiful days in Oz ahead, and more in our lives !!! Stuck with me!! ” commented Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown also commented, imparting profound advice on living life to the fullest.
“Hold on tight to the wonderful people and all the memories to come and most importantly, embrace the healing and discovery the experience brings,” Brown wrote.
