Ashton Kutcher’s career is in a tailspin and now, video clips of the actor making unpleasant comments about Hilary Duff when she was 15 have resurfaced.

Days after it was revealed that his co-star on ‘That ‘70s show’, Danny Masterson, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty in two rape cases, The Los Angeles Times revealed two letters, written by Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, which were sent to the judge to support their friend and colleague, describing him as “a role model.”
Once the letters were made public, the actors apologized, noting that they did not intend to “question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the final legal decision”, in addition to proclaiming itself in favor of the victims.
Despite public apologies, both Ashton and Mila have been heavily criticised, especially since the actor is the face of Thorn, an international organization against human trafficking; so this was branded as having double standards.
Since then, users on social networks began to repost old video clips that paint the ‘he Butterfly Effect’ actor in a poor light , noting that, after having seen the audiovisuals, it is not uncommon for Kutcher to have written a letter in support of a person sentenced for rape.

Among the rescued videos that generated the most controversy, a clip from an episode of ‘Punk’d’ from 2003 stands out. in which Ashton makes unpleasant comments about Hilary Duff, who was 15 years old at the time.
“Hilary Duff is on ‘Lizzie McGuire’ and also has an album out. She will be in a movie called 'Cheaper by the Dozen'. She's one of the girls we're all waiting for her 18th birthday… Along with the Olsen twins”, says Kutcher, who was 25 years old at the time, while Mary-Kate and Ashley were 17.
Mila Kunis polemic
Along with the comments about Hilary Duff and the Olsen twins, clips from a 2002 interview between the actor and Mila Kunis for ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show’ have also resurfaced.
In it, Kunis recalls Kutcher making a “side bet” with Masterson when she was 14: “Danny walks up to him and says, ‘Dude, I’ll give you 10 dollars if you give him a French kiss’”, Mila pointed out. At the time, Kutcher was 20 years old and she was 14.
