Bad Bunny appears to be having a good year. The music video for the 2016 song ‘Soy Peor’, one of the artist’s first big hits, has reached one billion views on YouTube. The song peaked at No. 19 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart when it was released.

After winning Best Música Urbana Album at this year’s Grammys, and becoming the first Latin artist to win an IFPI award, the artist now has 10 music videos that have reached one billion views on YouTube.

Which Bad Bunny videos have also reached 1 billion views?

The music video becomes the 10th video on YouTube either posted on the artist’s official YouTube account, or by collaborators to reach one billion views.

The ‘Te Bote’ remix with Casper, Nio García, Darell, Nicky Jam, and Ozuna has 2.3 billion views, followed by ‘Mayores’ with Becky G at 2.2 billion views. ‘No Me Conoce’, a remix with Jhay Cortez and J. Balvin is steadily approaching two billion views.

Bad Bunny’s Drake collab ‘Mía’, ‘Dákiti’ with Jhay Cortez, ‘I Like It’ featuring Cardi B and J. Balvin, ‘Amorfoda’, ‘Callaíta’, ‘Tú no vive así’ with Arcángel, DJ Luian, and Mambo Kingz, and now ‘Soy Peor’ all have 1 billion views.

Bad Bunny’s historic success

Since ‘Soy Peor’ made Bad Bunny a household name in 2016, the artist has become a regular feature on multiple charts. Most recently, ‘Ojitos Lindos’ climbed up to number 25 on Billboard’s U.S. Top Songs chart, with ‘Titi Me Pregunto’ sitting at number 4. ‘La Jumpa’ with Arcángel is now at number 81.

Bad Bunny has also peaked at number 1 on the Artist 100 chart. He has so far had 67 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100. His albums ‘El Último Tour del Mundo’ released in 2020 and last year’s ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ each debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making Bad Bunny the only artist to top the chart with an album entirely in Spanish - twice.

Last month, Bad Bunny became the first Latin artist to win an IFPI Global Award, winning the 2022 Global Album Award for ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’. According to the organization, the album spent 13 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, where he also became the first Latin artist to have an album perform so well.
