Bebe Rexha suffered a black eye and facial lacerations after she was hit in the face by a cell phone thrown a member of the audience at a concert in New York. She has now published the images of her injuries on her social media.

On Sunday night, June 18, the 33-year-old singer was giving a concert on the Rooftop of Pier 17 in New York, when the attack happened. The show had to be stopped and the ‘Say my name’ singer was forced to leave the stage after being struck by the cell phone.

Hours after the event and due to the concern of her fans, Bebe Rexha took to social media to give an update on her health, saying she is “fine”. The artist’s mother, Bukurije Rexha, shared a message noting that the singer had received three stitches.

According to images shared by Bebe herself on Instagram, the incident left her with a stitch in the upper part of her eye, as well as a black eye and several bruises on her cheek.

According to reports in the British press the person who threw the phone has been identified as Nicolás Mavagna, a 27-year-old man. According to the legal document the tabloid newspaper had access to he was detained at the scene and taken for processing by the police.
