GoFundMe is reaping the benefits from demand for Beyoncé's ‘Renaissance’ concert tickets, as fans set up crowdfunding campaigns to help manage the cost of ticket prices.

Monetary targets for the fundraising accounts range from hundreds to even thousands of dollars, and people have already started to chip in $5 to $100.

Tickets for Bey’s big show are already on sale in the UK, with reportedly 400,000 currently waiting in line for tickets in London. ‘Renaissance’ tickets are yet to be available in the US so far — fans will have to wait until next week, but hundreds of thousands of people are already waiting in virtual pre-sale queues.

Bey fans’ desperate pleas

The various crowdfunding campaigners posted messages asking people to help them make it to Beyoncé's concert.

“Just help please,” one post reads.

“Yes it is that serious,” writes another fan. “This is the only life experience I care about living before I die. I will get those front-row tickets either way but this way is safer than selling my kidney on the black market.”

“All jokes aside, just being in the building would be the most amazing thing ever. So help a brother out if you can. Remember cents turn into dollars. Every little bit helps. Thanks, guys, in advance.”

Another keen fan, striving for $2000, defended her high request in the account listing.

“‘I know what you’re saying. Ain’t nobody ‘bout to give me $2000 to see Beyoncé but just hear me out,” the fan wrote. “I’ve loved Beyoncé since I was two years old. ...I just need to see her live and smell the same air as her. So I will take anything to help.”

Beyoncé's charity, BeyGOOD

The superstar will be kicking off her tour for her new album, which is up for nine 2023 Grammy Awards, in Stockholm in May, with the string of concerts wrapping up in September.

Some revenue from Queen Bey’s ‘Renaissance’ tour, her seventh studio album, will go towards the ‘Crazy in Love’ singer’s charity initiative, BeyGOOD.

The foundation, founded in 2013, just celebrated its 10-year anniversary. In honor of the occasion, BeyGOOD posted a picture of Beyoncé herself, with a caption that read:

BeyGOOD.org is here - the public charity foundation founded by @Beyonce Knowles-Carter.”
