Tina Knowles had an unwanted visitor at her Los Angeles home last week. On April 1, 2023, the mother of the megastar Beyoncé called the police after hearing strange noises coming from the front of her property.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that they rushed to Knowles’ home last Saturday after getting a call that a man was at the front of the house throwing rocks at her mailbox. Various police units arrived including a helicopter but the suspect immediately fled.

Minimal damages

The helicopter located the suspected and cops took the man into custody after a short foot pursuit. According to TMZ, law enforcement claims the suspect was behaving erratically and was placed on a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold.

Knowles had minor damage to her mailbox but declined to press charges or even file a report. The fashion designer and celebrity mom shares the house with her husband, actor and writer Richard Lawson.

Who is Tina Knowles?

Knowles shares Beyoncé and Solange Knowles with ex-husband Matthew Knowles, who she officially split from in 2011. He married Gena Charmaine Avery in 2013, while Knowles married Lawson in 2015.

Knowles has routinely made cameos in Beyoncé's work. In 2016 she appeared in Beyoncé's film and visual album ‘Beyoncé: Lemonade’. She also appeared in Beyoncé's ‘Homecoming’ a concert film about the singer’s 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performances.

For Beyoncé's upcoming tour, ‘Renaissance World Tour,’ the singer auctioned off a ticket for an unspecified show, which went for $50,000 at a charity auction to support the WACO Theatre. The ticket package included two tickets to the concert, first-class airfare, a three-night hotel stage, and a backstage tour led by Knowles.

Knowles is very active in her daughter’s life, just earlier this year Knowles told TMZ that her daughter had “jitters” before her big Dubai performance, but it was “very beautiful” and she “killed it.”

On January 21, Beyoncé returned to the stage for the first time in four years for an invite-only crowd in Dubai. The singer brought her husband Jay-Z, her three children, and her parents to watch the extravagant show.
