Although the couple have decided to go their separate ways, the singer’s rep says they remain good friends.
Billie Eilish and boyfriend Jesse Rutherford have decided to end their relationship after less than a year together.
The couple haven’t been seen together since Coachella back in April, where they kept a low profile, with the singer’s representative stating they have gone their separate ways.
“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends,” the rep told Page Six.
Following Coachella, Eilish was seen at the Met Gala, though she attended without Rutherford.
The 21-year-old attended the event in a Simone Rocha designed sheer dress.
She was spotted speaking with ‘Love Victor’ actress Ava Capri at an afterparty, however Eilish’s rep says that any speculation over cheating is “false”.
Eilish and Rutherford’s relationship
The couple went official seven months ago when Eilish posted a series of snapshots from her Halloween weekend, which included pictures of her new boyfriend.
They made their red carpet debuts at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November while wrapped in Gucci blankets.
When Eilish celebrated her 21st birthday in December 2022, the lovebirds dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Clause for the holiday-themed celebrations.
She later shed light on their relationship in an interview with Vanity Fair back in late November.
“It’s really cool, and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it,” she said of her relationship with Rutherford, who is 31.
“I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f--king f--ker alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me.
“Thank you, Jesse Rutherford, everyone! I pulled his ass. All me. I did that s--t.”
She also revealed what she must have in a relationship.
“My love language is physical touch,” she told the outlet, “and I just need to be touching skin all the time.”
Before dating Rutherford, Eilish dated actor Matthew Tyler Vorce. As for Rutherford, he dated Devon Lee Carlson from 2015 to 2021.
