Britney Spears’ inner circle concerned about her well-being
Reports suggest individuals close to Britney Spears are concerned for the singer and had planned an intervention.
Friends and family members close to Britney Spears are growing more concerned over the singer’s recent behavior.
A source told People that she is “often up all night, sleeps during [the] day, and has a lot of anger.”
Another added that Spears has been “very difficult” and “absolutely chaotic”, and that they have been encouraging her to get help.
They also add that husband Sam Asghari, who Spears married in June after six years of dating, “is being as supportive as possible.”
A possible intervention
A source told TMZ that her manager rented a house in the Los Angeles area for several months and the plan was to take Britney there, where she would be met by her husband, manager, interventionists, and doctors.
The source also claims sisters Jamie and Lynne Spears, as well as Britney’s two sons, were not involved in plans. The plans were for Britney to live in the rented house for as long as two months while she received both medical treatment and psychological counseling.
The outlet adds that Britney became “somewhat aware” of the plans, which resulted in plans being changed, and the intervention was canceled.
TMZ states they asked multiple sources connected to Spears why the plans were canceled, but no one could answer the question. The source added that Britney did agree to meet with a doctor late Wednesday afternoon and that the meeting “went well.”
Spears’ recent history
This news comes just over a year after Spears’ had her conservatorship terminated, which she had been under since 2008
Since then the singer has claimed to be victimized by the conservatorship, regularly using her social media accounts to vent her frustrations.
More recently, concerned followers contacted authorities, which resulted in a welfare check from the local police. Britney asked concerned fans to “respect her privacy” following the incident.
