Britney Spears shows off bandages and wounds after dancing with knives
After uploading a video dancing with knives, Britney Spears appeared with a bandage and apparent injuries to various parts of her body.
Britney Spears has shared a disturbing new video on Instagram. The new upload has caused concern among her followers after she appeared with a bandage on her right arm and cuts to her leg. The video is a follow-up to one which she posted earlier this week in which she was “playing” with knives.

Initially, the 41-year-old singer wrote in the post: “Today I started playing in the kitchen with knives!!!” However, she later edited the description of the post to read: ”Today I started playing in the kitchen with knives! Don’t worry, they are NOT real knives!!! Halloween is soon!!!”
Several users on social networks speculated that the singer’s video for Toxic could have been inspired by Shakira’s recent appearance in the MTV Video Music Awards.
A couple of weeks ago, the Colombian offered a presentation of some of her hits including: She Wolf, Te Felicito, TQG, Hips Don’t Lie, Objection (Tango), Whenever, Wherever and session 53. In one part, she danced while holding two daggers. It seems that Shakira was paying homage to an Arabic dance, known by as the dagger dance (Raqs Al Sayf in Arabic). Some commentators believe that Britney liked Shakira’s performance, so she decided to try it herself.

In a new video, in which she appears dressed in white boots and the same outfit she wore in the previous one, Britney shows off a bandage on her forearm as well as apparent new injuries.
“My Pretty Woman top… kinda cool after my briefing on polka dots!!!! Swipe to see both!!!” she wrote in the description of the two videos he shared.
The singer does not explain why her forearm is bandaged in the second video, or what caused the cut on her upper thigh or lower back, but they are all appear to be fresh injuries sustained after the first knife video, which she posted Monday night.
Britney Spears keeps sharp tools nearby for “protection”
According to TMZ, Britney has a fascination with knives. When she was released from her conservatorship in November 2021, a number of recommendations were made to ensure her safety - one of which included keeping her knives away from her.
Sources told the outlet that she keeps sharp tools throughout her house - even inside her bedroom. She apparently uses the measure as a form of protection for fear of being re-institutionalized.
