Bruce Willis’ wife launches brain health supplements following dementia diagnosis

Emma Heming Willis has introduced a new brain health brand in solidarity with Bruce Willis.

Emma Heming Willis has discovered her “new purpose” and has launched a campaign to offer supplements that support brain health. The brand is called ‘Make Time Wellness’.

The initiative comes after her husband, Hollywood actor Bruce Willis, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in early 2023.

Emma Heming Willis’ new purpose

Since the diagnosis, Heming Willis has been staunchly advocating for more awareness surrounding brain health. This particular product is geared towards women’s health in their exercise routine.

It’s like a fire’s been lit,” she told People Magazine. “It’s my new purpose and here I am.”

“For me, it’s really about connecting to a community and being open and able to talk about dementia and to take away that stigma that there is no shame around it. I’m learning through the process. I’m able to call an expert and speak to some of the most incredible doctors.

“So I guess I have a new purpose, and I’m so excited that I’m able to share what I’m learning with everyone. I’m not going to be quiet. I am going to use my voice and through action, awareness and conversation, that creates change.”

Learning about brain health

The entrepreneur elaborated that she had never given much thought to brain health before a few years ago, when she went to the doctor because she was feeling foggy-minded and sluggish. At the time, Heming Willis referred to it merely as “mommy brain”.

“We always talk about breast health or heart health, but brain health was just something that I had never heard of,” she said.

Upon obtaining this new concept of “brain health”, Heming Willis began taking a cocktail of supplements to achieve that clear-headedness she was looking for.

“My brain was suffering, and I could feel it,” Heming Willis recalled. “Why is the focus on the rest of our body when really our brain is our biggest asset and the one that we should be really looking after?”

“I found that when you put your brain first and when you are taking care of your brain, your whole body benefits,” she continued.

Yet, the supplement mixture wasn’t helping. The businesswoman reached out to Helen Christoni, who helped her make what they call a “brain health drink”, which combines the most beneficial vitamins in one drink.

Heming Willis and Christoni then co-founded Make Time Wellness, which launched Thursday.
