Cara Delevingne’s Rihanna Shirt at Super Bowl

Model Cara Delevingne wears her support for RiRi on her chest, sporting a Rihanna t-shirt at the Super Bowl.

Concerns about the health of Cara Delevingne

English supermodel Cara Delevingne went to Super Bowl LVII for one reason only: to cheer on superstar Rihanna as the singer made her big comeback.

Rihanna, who has been out of the spotlight for seven years, performed a 13-minute montage of her greatest hits on a suspended platform during the football championship halftime show Sunday evening. The nine-time Grammy Award winner’s epic performance was a celebration of her life’s work, a nod toward her Caribbean roots, and in an unexpected twist: a pregnancy reveal.

Delevingne was one of many stars to attend Super Bowl LVII. Reportedly, 67,827 people were drawn to the State Farm Stadium in Arizona, along with nearly 100 million Americans watching from home. Assuming die-hard football fans were also there to see the ‘Umbrella’ singer’s triumphant return, that’s a lot of people cheering the recent mother on.

Cara Delevingne was one of Rihanna’s biggest supporters at the Super Bowl, as she posted a photo of herself wearing a team Rihanna t-shirt before the show. The model had scored seats close to the field, and she wears casual jeans with her long blonde hair down.

“Rihanna Concert interrupted by a football game. Weird But Whatever,” Delevingne’s shirt reads.

The model captioned the photo with a simple “#teamrihanna”.

Mixed reviews from fans

Some of Cara Delevingne’s fans thought the shirt was hilarious, with many asking where she got it, how they can get one, and chiming in their bit of RiRi support.

“Legends supporting legends,” one fan wrote. “We need the riri show already,” chimed in another.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old model’s comments section was being contradicted by naysayers.

“But pay to go to the super bowl just to watch a 20 minute concert? Weird but whatever,” one netizen retorted. “Disrespect for the athletes at its finest,” said another.

Rihanna released the shirt

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, who did not go to the Super Bowl but was in Arizona for the pre-game, said that Rihanna had released the t-shirts herself.

“Everybody is saying that football is just opening up for her — it’s the Rihanna show,” Fenty said.

“It’s the moment that everybody has been waiting for.”
