Casa Cipriani members kicked out for taking pics of Taylor Swift on a date

The members-only restaurant is making some cutbacks on who is allowed to dine at their New York City location.

Casa Cipriani members kicked out for taking pics of Taylor Swift on a date

After pictures of Taylor Swift and new boyfriend Matty Healy dining at Casa Cipriani went viral last week, the upscale Italian restaurant has taken matters into its own hands and reportedly revoked at least three memberships.

Casa Cipriani is a members-only private hotel and club that features a restaurant and bars within. It’s located at 10 South Street, in New York City.

Membership details

The annual membership fee is $3,900, while new members will also have to pay a $2,000 one-time initiation fee. Members only 30 years old pay a reduced membership rate, while members can also pay $2,000 more to have access to Casa Cipriani’s Milan location and any future hotels they chose to build.

The membership comes with a unique set of rules patrons must follow. The rules include a strict dress code, and a no-pet policy and all photography and videography is forbidden, especially photos or videos posted online.

Revoked memberships

According to a source for Page Six, Casa Cipriani is aware of the photos that were taken of Swift and Healy and have since revoked several memberships for breaking the rules.

“At least three members got kicked out for taking pictures of Taylor,” says a source. “There is a no picture policy. Their membership was revoked.”

The club sent out a memo telling members, “It has come to our attention that images have been captured at the club in recent days that have infringed upon the privacy of our members.”

The note, acquired by Page Six, added, “It is important to note that any member who violates these policies will face immediate revocation of their membership.”

The source added, “Taylor came knowing the policy and then had to leave,” because of the intrusive snappers. “They are cracking down now like crazy.”

According to the source in one case, “It wasn’t even the member. It was their guest. And their membership was still revoked.”

Members are allowed to bring guests to dine at the private restaurant but are responsible for their guests, as the rules and policy page for Casa Cipriani states.
